Title: Kindermusik: Improvised music by babies
Label: Amorfon (JP)
Format: CD
Catalog: amorfon004
Release Date: 2005

Have you ever listened to babies' musical performances seriously? Some time ago, the London-based improvised music label LMC had released children's music (with adult improvisations). The New York-based Mulatta Records had released a children (ages 3 through 7) album, influenced by recordings of the Art Ensemble of Chicago and free jazz. But the artists in this album are all under 18 months old! These pieces are live recordings with no editing. The babies gathered from several countries play zither, piano, steel pan, toy turntable and computer-controlled pacifier. You will be impressed by their unique sensitivities! "*Music for Baby!" is a message from adult to baby; "Kindermusik" is a message from baby to adult!
